God for the precious gift of His Son, the Lord Jesus! We are so grateful for
Jesus sustaining us through another year and for your faithful prayers and
support of us. It
has been an exciting, but challenging time. Bill has been out traveling a lot
in ministry, including an exciting time of ministry in We
are also working on an exciting video/book project which is still too early to
reveal details, but please pray that God will bring it together. Thanks
to all of those who gave money this past year. It had been our worst year
financially since the early nineties, and we
barely made it through the summer. Plus, our tape duplicator is in the
shop, so this has bogged down our order fulfillment. Thanks in advance for your
patience in this. Also, please pray that the Lord will provide funds for a new
car and for someone to help in the office, as we are just getting overwhelmed.
It is just the two of us, but serving Jesus makes it all worthwhile. We
thank you for your prayers and support! If you are not already a regular

once in awhile, there is an article which is too painful to write, and yet it
needs to be written. We have been ministering to people since 1989 and have
seen a great deal of suffering caused through attacks by the adversary. Praise
God, we have seen Jesus set many hundreds free, and heal many as well. The torments these people were
under came from many sources. Often, they were being afflicted by both demonic
attack and also physical and emotional challenges. It was glorious to see how
often the Lord moved to set people completely free of demonic bondage. But at the same time it was
distressing to see how these people were not always being healing. Even more
disheartening was the way in which they were being treated, by the church and
by the medical community. Dropping the Ball? Just
in the relatively short time that we have been involved in ministry (16 years),
we have seen major changes in the way the church deals with some of its people.
Further study revealed to us that this has been part of an on-going process in
which the church has gradually surrendered much of its God-given mandate to the
secular state realm. Beloved, this is not good. For example, nowadays it is
customary for pastors to shunt people who are perceived as being “high
maintenance” over to psychiatrists or therapists. In many cases, the members
(who might have emotional problems, demonic issues or even “mental health”
problems) to supposedly Christian clinicians. However, even then that can be a
pretty dicey proposition. This is what used to be called
the “cure of souls” and was done by pastors. Now they evidently do not have the
time or do not want to be bothered (OR
they are afraid of lawsuits in our increasingly and litigious society). But
the problem is that our increasingly needy sheep are being turned over to the
care of people who do not have the mantle of pastoral authority to minister to
them. The church is dropping the ball here. While these counselors and
psychiatrists may have secular skills from universities, they do not have the anointing of the Holy Spirit given to
pastoral teams. What has happened is that, by default, parachurch ministries
(such as ours) have risen up to fill the void, but it is not really a Biblical
situation. If God cannot find pastors who
will help His wounded sheep, He will raise up others who will—often people who themselves have a history of defilement
from the occult or woundedness. But there is no way that there are the
resources available to help the thousands of people in the church that need
help through these few ministries. We are not pastors (nor are
most of the people who run these ministries) so are not as equipped in the
spiritual sense of the word to help these people. God‘s church has a right
order of doing things, and it is being circumvented. But we do our best, and
God has really blessed us. However, it is an un-Biblical situation. Every good-sized church should
have pastoral staff who will work with those people who have demonic or
emotional issues. Probably 90% of these folks could be helped without involving
outside “professionals.” Is There a Doctor in the Church? Then
there is a further problem. Part of the church’s ministry for more than 1,800
years was the physical healing of
people. Whether it was the laying on of hands for the miraculous healing of the
sick or physically caring for those who were ill, the church “took care of
their own.” Today, the church has been
completely shouldered out of the field of medicine by a state-licensed monopoly
which is increasingly ungodly and ineffective. We are talking about AMA-type
medicine. The irony of this is that a
close look at church history reveals that
many of the early followers of Jesus were what today would be called
doctors (Luke being the best-known example). It is also evident that the
concept of a hospital (unknown in the pagan Roman world) was developed by the
early church.[1] For most of its history, the
Christian church ministered to its sick and wounded in whatever way the need
demanded. Due to a cascade of events, some of them outside of the church's
control, it is now illegal for a pastor to “practice
medicine.” Most would not wish to bother with it anyway, but these things
illustrate how far we have gotten from apostolic practice. High Risk Healing? What
I am about to say should not be taken in anyway as an attack on doctors (MDs)
or nurses. They are, by and large, wonderful and dedicated people (especially the nurses!). However, the
giant medical megalopolis which they serve is becoming increasingly dangerous
and even deadly to thousands. The above situation with the
church being walled out of medical work would be less intolerable if what had replaced
the church worked. But the problem
is, it does not work very well at all—especially
considering the amount of money which is invested in it. The sad fact is that modern
medicine is costing thousands of people their lives every year and it has become
a kind of false religion. It has its high priests (the doctors, of course), its
acolytes (the nurses and med techs), and its rituals and initiatic ordeals.[2] It has sacred
scriptures (the PDR, Merck manual, or perhaps the current HMO guidelines) and
even its dogmas (such as the “germ theory”), many of which are no more
scientific than is the other supposedly
scientific theory of evolution. To be sure, the AMA does not
yet promise salvation in heaven if you follow its dictates, but that is the
only thing which keeps it from being a full-blown religious cult. However, the
modern medical industry makes it very clear that if you do not strictly follow
its (frequently changing[3]) guidelines, you will be “damned” to a life of
horrible disease or early death. However, the actual fact is
that modern pharmaceutical medicine kills more
than a hundred thousand people a year! In fact, a recent statement by a
professor at Those Wicked Herbs! Paradoxically,
many Christians are taught that AMA medicine is totally good or effective and
that taking herbs or vitamin supplements is evil or even “witchcraft.” At best,
many are told (by doctors, etc.) that herbs are useless or possibly dangerous. This would be laughable, if it
were not costing so many their lives. Medicinal herbs are just about the most
benign food source one could imagine. In the past decade, about a million
people have been killed by prescription drugs. In the same period, less than five have died due to taking
herbs. It would seem that the AMA needs to take the beam out of its own eye
before trying to look for the splinter in the eye of herbalists. However, let us just talk
about the spiritual side of this. I remember as a young Christian, being told
that using herbs was bad because it brought in an open door to the “spirit of pharmakeia.” I have heard this
often from people who have received this strange advice from a pastor. First of all, I have searched
the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and have never found a spirit of pharmakeia! To be sure, the word pharmakeia is used, notably in the Greek
Old Testament in Ex.22:18 and in Greek in the New Testament in Gal. Realize that the literal
meaning of this Greek word “primarily signified the use of medicine, drugs,
spells; then poisoning; then sorcery.”[4] This is distinguished from another Greek word, magoi, which only used for magic.
According to the lexicon, this word for sorcery is only used for occultism in a
tertiary sense. It most commonly means medicine, drugs, spells and poisoning. It is also, as may be
self-evident, where we get our modern word, “pharmacy.” Gee, what could the
Holy Spirit have been warning us about in these passages? What happens if we
put pharmaceuticals in Rev. 9:21: ”Neither
repented they of their murders, nor of their pharmaceuticals, nor of their
fornication, nor of their thefts.“ Without wishing to lean on
this point too hard, it is disturbing to note that the drug companies have, at
the very least, committed murder and theft (and perhaps fornication as well,
who knows?). The REAL Drug Lords! Many
Christians I speak with worry about the “spiritual origins” of herbalism and
other alternative healing methods. That
is an important question, though in this case often unfounded. Some have asked
us if they take ginseng, which is a Chinese herb, if they would get “Buddhist
demons” from it. No one knows for sure, but our response is the same as always.
We recommend Christians follow Paul’s advice and pray over everything they put
in their mouths, herbal or food, or beverage (or prescription drug, for that
matter!). Herbs are God’s creation and
He pronounced them good (see Gen. 1, esp.
vs. 29, where God gave herbs specifically to us as food.) I do not think it
matters if they grow in Chinese soil or US soil. Admittedly, some herb
companies or herb shops are run by New Agers, Buddhists or whatever and they
might pray weird spiritual things over them. A simple, “blood of Jesus” prayer,
would take care of that. Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question
for conscience sake: For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness
thereof.—1Cor. The clear context of this
passage is the very thing we are talking about, buying and eating things sold
by pagans which may or may not have been exposed to occult influences. Paul is
saying not to worry, as long as you pray over what you consume and receive it
with thanks. But the flip side of this is
the question of the spiritual roots of the drugs you are taking. By definition,
every drug is poisonous—drugs are defined medically as a sub-lethal dose of a
toxic chemical. Beyond that, the companies which manufacture them are
ultimately part of the most ungodly cartel of illuminists and Satanic
sycophants this side of hell. The companies have created an
octopus of interlocking firms underneath the head, I. G. Farben, the German
chemical giant which brought us such wonderful things as mustard gas, nerve gas
(Sarin) and Zyklon-B (used in the death camps). Is your teenager high on LSD?
Thank the pharmaceutical companies! Dismayed at all the school shootings?
Almost all of the kids accused of those shootings were on some form of SSRI[5] drug like Prozac™. These are the REAL drug lords. Compared to them, the
Colombian cocaine magnates are puny—and the destruction that illegal drugs do
is also small compared to what pharmaceuticals do to people (in a totally legal fashion, of course).
The history behind these companies is so appalling and complex that it cannot
be gone into here. We are working on a book to discuss it in more detail. The “Iron Triangle” In
terms of theft, there has been an unholy relationship between the drug
companies, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the medical schools. I
get into this in more depth in our new video, THE MEDICAL CONSPIRACY. Suffice
it to say, though, that many people on FDA panels that evaluate drugs are on
the payroll of the drug companies. Additionally, the drug
companies pour millions into the medical schools and training for doctors. This
means they control what and how your physician is taught. Due to this cozy little club,
drug prices in the Or how about the fact that the
Celebrex™ that you are paying around $130 for a hundred tablets only costs the
drug company 60 cents for the active ingredients! That is just a 21,000% markup
(And that is just a small example!)[7] This gives new meaning to the word “theft,” especially
since some people depend on these drugs for their lives. Yet, because the drug
companies spend huge amounts of money lobbying Congress, little is done about
these inequities. Prophecy students frequently talk about “Religious Babylon”
or “Political-Economic Babylon” in these last days. But in the light of all
this, what about “Medical Babylon?” The largest industrial cartel
in history is around today and it is made up Farben and the oil giant,
Rockefeller. Between oil and drugs, they have their hands around the throats of
the western world! You are controlling peoples’ ability to live and travel. The sad part of this is that
it is costing the lives of thousands of believers (and nonbelievers as well). I
know too many great Christians who died prematurely because they trusted
Medical Babylon. Though it seems to be new,
herbal medicine has been around since before the days of Luke, and many MDs are
even beginning to admit that for most conditions, herbs and supplements could
save the lives of thousands. Indeed, they are often as effective as drugs, cost
less and have virtually no side effects. This is obviously a larger
subject than we can deal with here, but we highly
recommend our new video, offered at the end of this article. My heart’s cry
is that we should not let the New Agers, etc. have all the good health benefits
of herbs (God’s own medicine cabinet) while Christians languish in hospitals
with tubes coming out of their bodies. Of course, we understand that
God is the ultimate source of healing. Vitalists[8] know this, but many doctors have
lost sight on this and trust more in their “scientific” dogmas than in Him.
Christians need to begin taking responsibility for their own health instead of
trusting in doctors that know only half the story. God gave us the herbs in
Gen. 1:29. It is up to us to use them wisely. Endnotes 1. For

you that the entire course of training, especially once you begin to actually

and are deprived of sleep until they are in a sort of altered state of
